Hybrid schedule flexibility – three (3) days at airport and two (2) days working remote
8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Participate in the design and development of data models, dashboards, and reports from single and multiple systems including imported external data using tools like PowerBI or other relevant platforms
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective BI solutions
Partner with division and other airport leaders to develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business goals and objectives
Analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and insights that contribute to better operational results
Participate in designing and managing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, using clear visualizations and impactful narratives
Proactively identify data quality and normalization issues and work with relevant parties to ensure accurate and reliable data for analysis
Participate in monitoring and assessing the performance of existing BI solutions, identifying opportunities for enhancements and optimizations
Participate in the evaluation of changes and updates to source production systems
Train end-users on new reports and dashboards
Participate in research and decisions on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
Oversight and/or support of system administration for Risk Management and Construction Safety utilized software
Support software upgrades and implementations and assist with strategic decisions on new systems
Project management and support
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes in business intelligence
Other duties as assigned
Proficient in business intelligence, data analytics and data modeling
Proficient with data analytics software; Microsoft Power BI or similar software
Proficient in SQL/SQL Server, Stata/R/JMP/SAS, and/or other data analytics tools
Experience with insurance and/or safety industry is a plus
Creative problem solving, critical thinking skills, and ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, growth environment with multiple competing demands and a high level of accuracy

Proficient with MS Office Suite (PowerBI, Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or other related field.
Experience: Two (2) years of professional level experience with data extraction, data management and programming, and using data and reporting to answer audit questions.
Education and Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience requirements.

What You’ll Do
Become an important part of a small, influential, and dynamic team, where you will help create the future of Risk Management and Construction Safety at DEN. In this role, you will work with a team to design and develop Power BI software dashboards and reports providing better communication and insight for internal and external audiences. You will be interfacing with multiple resources such as third-party vendors, internal business units, and management is required to understand and deliver the most effective results. Primary responsibilities include data analytics and business intelligence for construction safety, insurance, and risk management-related programs. You will also support the DEN Risk Management and Construction Safety team regarding all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program.

FBI Background Check
FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. Shift Work/Emergency Duties
Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If staffing challenges arise, weather conditions warrant, or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees will be required to work extended hours and/or alternative shifts (includes nights, weekends, and holidays).
