      About this Position:

      North American Quality Assurance Department’s mission is to provide regional strategies and insights to achieve the highest level of quality and coordinate quality activity to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain competitiveness. Our Data Analytics Engineers review multiple data sources to evaluate, summarize and draw conclusions to identify trends that lead to countermeasure activity. In the Quality Assurance Group we look for candidates who have a passion for our mission and can take responsibility to focus on Market Quality needs and strive to innovate and continuously learn.

      Responsibilities include:

      · Analyzing multiple data sources (warranty claims, dealer information, manufacturing data, geographical, environmental etc.) in detail to identify quality trends and problem indicators using engineering fundamentals.

      · Identify data trends not previously identified through deep understanding of the data and the ability to holistically review each problem.

      · Transform data using SQL, Python, R, etc. to identify trends that lead to actionable problems.

      · Effectively generate ideas and support building tools in order to automate analysis processes.

      · Summarize and evaluate data, make conclusions, and provide direction on problems identified.

      · Using engineering analysis, develop a risk assessment, considering seriousness, urgency and growth of emerging market problems.

      · Ensure data integrity through testing of results.

      · Responsible to support and direct analysis engineers with developing data queries for a specifically described problem.

      Who we are seeking:

      Required Work Experience:

      · 3 months of co-op experience in Analytical or information analysis required

      Required Education:

      · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or Engineering with strong engineering aptitude

      Desired skills:

      · Ability to technically investigate, derive conclusions from data and analytically approach problem cause phenomena.

      · Strong communication skills (written, verbal and visual) to ensure your analysis is clearly understood

      · Excellent attention to detail

      · Experienced in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, VBA etc.)

      · Prioritization skills to manage workload and make sound decisions

      · Business intelligence (Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau) programming (desired)

      Additional Position Factors:

      · This position will offer a combination of working in an open office environment and the ability to work from home 60% of the time.

      · Expected 2-8 hours overtime per week as needed

      · Open office environment to freely share ideas
