- Gathering, cleaning, and transforming data
- Creating compelling visualizations using Power BI
- Creating and maintaining reports to meet business requirements
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in alignment with SHI’s data standards
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and requirements
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices
- Demonstrating proficiency in relevant technologies, including Power BI, SQL, and other data tools
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing working towards a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Passion for data-driven decision-making
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
- Understanding of best practices in data visualization
- Proficiency in Excel, including data manipulation and analysis functions
- Proactive, driven, and positive work attitude
- Candidate will be required to work 40 hours a week during a 12 week period.
- The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $18.00/Hr. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.

Job Summary
The Data Analytics/ Power BI internship involves actively participating in analyzing and visualizing data to derive meaningful insights. The intern will gain hands-on experience in leveraging data to inform decision making, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the enhancement of reporting processes.
This position will report to the Vice President of Application Development in Somerset, NJ.
