Data Analytics Tuning and List Intelligence Analyst
BournemouthAs a Barclays Data Analytics Tuning and List Intelligence Analyst, you will become part of the Financial Crime Screening operation; safeguarding operational efficiency by reviewing and updating screening list criteria, and the development of tuning rules to remediate problematic entries. What will you be doing?
• Supporting and delivering initiatives that increase automation and enhance testing of the control environment in line with the wider Group strategy
• Identifying and executing rules for implementation into FircoSoft to improve automation and efficiency
• Producing meaningful analysis to support the delivery of T&LI related initiatives
• Removing unnecessary hits out of the system to protect operations from unnecessary spikes and introduce improvement strategies and practices
• Developing an understanding of Sanctions regulations, systems, and operational processes across Global Payments
• Performing pre & post impact assessments, drawing on experience and knowledge to quantify results
• Ensuring control framework is robust and adhered to; providing oversight and transparency in control related activity
• Supporting and delivering initiatives that increase automation and enhance testing of the control environment in line with the wider Group strategyWhat we’re looking for:
• Previous operational experience, ideally within the financial sector
• Creative and able to search for best working practices with a culture for improvementsSkills that will help you in the role:
• Has a detailed working knowledge of SWIFT / XML messaging standards
• Understanding of Fircosoft Continuity and Utilities suites
• Ideally possesses knowledge of Fircosoft Screening Configuration
• Familiarity of UAT testingWhere will you be working?
The Bournemouth Wealth Office is located between Bournemouth and Poole with Sandbanks beach no more than 500 metres from the front door. We have a significant number of restaurants and sports clubs locally which make this a great office to work in. We work very closely with our BUK colleagues and share the growing Barclays Eagle Lab on site. This creates significant interest across the region and provides an opportunity for the teams to get together regularly.
