  Job Title: AI Developer – Kore.AI & GenAI (Remote)

  Location: Remote – Based in Hartford, CT (preferred)
  Type: Full-Time | Remote

  About the Role:

  We are seeking a skilled and experienced AI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Kore.AI, Java Spring Boot, and Generative AI. This is a fully remote position supporting our Hartford-based team. The ideal candidate has a passion for AI innovation and a deep understanding of developing and deploying conversational AI applications in a production environment.

  Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Kore.AI-based conversational AI solutions, including chatbots and IVR systems.
  • Apply Generative AI techniques to handle natural language prompts and enhance chatbot and IVR capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions with backend systems using Java Spring Boot.
  • Develop, test, and fine-tune AI prompts for accurate and contextually relevant responses.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to technical strategy.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve AI interactions.

  Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in:
    • Java Spring Boot development
    • AI/Conversational AI (including prompt design for GenAI models)
    • Kore.AI platform (or strong Java experience with willingness to ramp up quickly)
  • At least 2 years of experience with Generative AI prompt engineering.
  • Solid understanding of NLP and chatbot development.
  • Familiarity with IVR systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Prior industry experience in building production-ready AI applications is required.

  Preferred:

  • Experience integrating GenAI with voice or chat-based customer service solutions.
  • Knowledge of additional frameworks or platforms like Dialogflow, Azure Bot Framework, or Amazon Lex.
