  In order to successfully implement our Borealis Strategy 2030, the former IT&S and Digital Studio teams are joining forces. The new "IT & Digital Solutions" organisation creates new opportunities. One of the roles necessary to ensure a fit for future organisation is a Data- & Digital Innovation Governance Manager.

  
  The Data- & Digital Innovation governance manager ensures alignment across the IT&Digital Solutions departments on the approved data strategy, supporting its successful execution. He/she also ensures that the innovation strategy is aligned with business strategies and the innovation focus areas are aligned with the prioritized business needs. With appropriate governance, maximum value is created out of data and innovation.
  

  In your role, you will:
  

  ⦁ Ensure the successful execution of the data strategy, by aligning the interests of the Data Team and other teams in IT&Digital Solutions.
  ⦁ Establish and ensure adherence to data policies and procedures to ensure the data principles are lived and the data strategy is executed as planned.
  ⦁ Enable data-driven decision-making
  ⦁ Translate business strategy into technology priorities and align strategy components to maintain alignment with governance functions.
  ⦁ Define and implement governance frameworks for data and innovation in Borealis, in accordance with the data and innovation strategy and with the OMV-group governance models.
  ⦁ Manage business/IT governance and orchestrate the implementation of technology capabilities along agreed business priorities.

  About you

  The right candidate for this role has a Master in Computer Science or Business Management with focus on IT/Digital Solution and at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role in an international work environment. You have knowledge about critical IT infrastructure protection strategies, and good knowledge of various software.

  
  We need someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels. Furthermore, you must have excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives. Other important skills are impact & influence, conflict handling, structured and self-organised. You master English at business level.
