Job Description
- Req#: 1779
- Work with your team of engineers, in a cross-functional capacity to develop, test, release, and document major software and systems components.
- Work with our researchers on challenging machine learning and data science issues.
- Contribute to the definition of work.
- Write all levels of automated tests (e.g., unit, integration, system) to ensure the quality and documentation of the delivered product.
- Learn about designing for security and vulnerability mitigation.
- Contribute to all forms of documentation.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience writing code in Python.
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with technical team members and managers.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
Overview
Ntrepid builds product that provide mission critical support for our customers online operations. We are seeking software engineering interns to join our Machine Learning Research and Development team for the Summer of 2024. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of core programming concepts, an interest in data science or machine learning, be a creative problem solver, and have a history of self-driven learning. Successful candidates will contribute to the development, testing, and release of our business-critical products.
Our internship will provide you with mentoring from senior team members and expand your problem-solving and technical skillset. The opportunity is based out of our Herndon, Virginia office with a flexible hybrid work schedule.
