      We are hiring a Master Data Management (MDM) Lead in Lockheed Martin’s Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) organization to support master data management efforts in the Missiles & Fire Control business area ($11B business) Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO).

      The data platform is a mix of Data Warehouse, Data Lakes and Logical Data Warehouse set up to ingest a variety of data from SAP ERP and non-ERP applications for processes such as engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, etc. The Data Management (DM), Data Governance (DG) & Data Quality (DQ) activities are part of larger data management initiatives within the digital and business transformation programs.

      The Master Data Management Lead is responsible for defining and optimizing the use of enterprise master data and other reference data assets by driving improvements to MDM, DG & DQ processes, optimizing usage, improving business processes and standardization. The individual is also responsible for working with business areas across the company to implement a consistent set of standards and processes. This role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study. Ph.D. or master’s degree in Data Management Design Principles, Business Analysis Information Systems preferred.

      • 10+ years’ combined experience in Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Governance in diverse contexts with in depth data & information architectures - structured and unstructured preferably in Aerospace & Defense or in large manufacturing industries primarily in SAP, PLM and host of other platforms in a large heterogenous environment.
      • Experience & knowledge in SAP and related applications is required with high level business process knowledge.
      • Experience in handling a team, setting guiding principles, coaching for excellence, setting up process and procedures for Data Management and Data Quality.
      • Hands-on experience in implementing DQ standard or Custom process in Collibra/SAP IS/ SAP MDG / manufacturing systems or any equivalent SAP system.
      • Master Data Domain experience and Knowledge in one or more of the following data domains (e.g. Material, Plant, Vendor, BOM)
      • SAP Master Data Management & Governance framework, tools and processes
      • Support Data migration as needed
      *** US Citizenship is required for this role *** • Experience in Agile hands-on experience and knowledge is preferred.
      • Experience in working closely with Data Architects to ensure changes are appropriately synchronized with the metadata strategy and logical data.
      • Data & Process knowledge of SAP, MDG, PLM Systems – PTC Windchill
      • Data & Process knowledge of MES Systems – Apriso, Signavio
