Data Center Electrician

Aerotek is currently hiring for Journeyman-level Electricians in the Chantilly area that have experience working in Data Centers.

This role will have some traveling aspects to it to surrounding areas around Chantilly.

Job Description

Candidates will be supporting the installation of electrical systems for infrastructure in data centers throughout Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve situations.
• Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Determine method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLCs, and switches.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience
• 4+ years of experience in the commercial/data center industry
• Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience
• Valid Driver's license

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience on 10-50k square foot projects
• Experience working in Data Centers or mission-critical facilities (Preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
