What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the development of complex ETL/ELT orchestration to integrate and build data assets for analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development meets best practice standards
- Develop functional requirements and Azure pipelines for cloud data migration
- Mentor Junior Data Engineers in creating a sustainable data warehouse ecosystem
- Maintain technical documentation for data transformation procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technology or equivalent experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Information Technology, with five (5) years as a Data Developer/Engineer
- Extensive experience with data development technologies such as Informatica and Azure Cloud
- Proficient in writing and performance tuning advanced SQL
- Strong knowledge of database systems and data modeling methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare nomenclature and EPIC EMR
- Experience with NoSQL and Spark SQL
- Advanced knowledge of Python, Spark, Docker, and Azure cloud services
- Experience in multiple healthcare business disciplines including Operations and Finance
