- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information management, or in lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of experience in the field of data management for the assigned domain or IT (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of data management or IT)
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- 5 years of experience in data analysis-related fields with a strong understanding of tools, techniques, and practices.

- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop journey maps and personas to identify business challenges and opportunities ultimately.
- Collaborate with the Data domain lead to develop and maintain domain-specific data model certification, standards, and procedures.
- Partner with cross-functional data teams to drive the development and maintenance of the business glossary such as business terms, policies, security rules, etc. within the data domain.
- Identify and resolve data issues and risks within the domain by working with stakeholders across the organization.
- Partner with data teams to monitor domain maturity index with the KPIs of data governance, data quality, data integration, data security, and data analytics.
- Develop domain-specific documentation such as Data Use Cases, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Mapping documents, and Metadata reports for domain users.
- Provide support, technical guidance, advice, and training to the business regarding data governance, metadata, data profiling, and modeling for the assigned domain.
The Data Domain Analyst role is responsible for ensuring that all data within the assigned domain(s) is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable. This role works closely with the Data Domain Lead, Data Stewards, Data Governance team, Data Management team, and domain users to understand domain needs, prioritize domain initiatives, maintain data models, and oversee the implementation of the data domain. The Data Domain Analyst is also responsible for continuously improving domain data quality, identifying data issues, and developing solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sherwin standards. The Analyst is responsible for measuring and monitoring the Domain maturity based on the established domain maturity index framework and driving towards a desired DMI level. In addition, the Data Domain Analyst is responsible for documenting and ensuring adherence to data management standards, policies, and procedures that support the data domain. The Analyst is responsible for supporting the Domain Lead to create a regular cadence and documentation of conversations with named Business Stewards and Custodians, guiding them to provide relevant information supporting their individual Business Groups to ensure progress related to key company-wide initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that system documentation, such as process diagrams, data dictionaries, user manuals, and training materials, are accurate and current.
