YOUR ROLE

As part of the NZ Actuarial team, you’ll assist the pricing and actuarial teams by providing dependable data assets and reporting to enhance their analyses.

You’ll contribute to the creation and generation of pricing and actuarial data extracts from relational databases and other systems, and pricing and actuarial datasets, and analytics systems, to offer insights into portfolio performance.

You’ll work on producing routine pricing and actuarial data and reports, assist the lead actuarial data engineer in developing data flows for budget models and contribute to the data and reporting needs of the wider actuarial team with the monthly valuation.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Auckland and offers hybrid working conditions.

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in data extraction and manipulation and computer programming (e.g. SAS, Tableau, Python or R).
• Ability to use visual analytics tools
• Tertiary qualification in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other Quantitative Discipline
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team objectives
• Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
