Data Developer
Duties:
• Responsible for design and implementation of code migration from Datastage to Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Install, set up and configure Datastage/Databricks.
• Create high level design documents.
• Support application & infrastructure teams troubleshoot the production and non-production issues.
• Utilize Agile methodologies, Rally & GitHub tool to accomplish goals.
• Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance.
• Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines.
• Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.
• May require occasional off-hours on-call support.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of development experience in Databricks or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Azure cloud environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in Cloud Automation Framework using Terraform or Bicep.
• Knowledge and experience connecting Databricks/ADF with DB2 LUW (Cloud) database.
• Knowledge and experience connecting Databricks/ADF with Postgres database.
• Knowledge and experience working with SQL server.
• Experience with Github and knowledge on CICD Concepts.
• Experience with work management products like Rally and/or GitHub Actions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Airline industry experience.
