- Implement complex analytical projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing, and visualizing large sets of data.
- Develop and maintain scalable pipelines for machine learning model development and production deployment.
- Collaborate on strategies and architectures for integrating data platforms and assets in order to achieve the highest possible levels of value and usability.
- Participate in institutional data and analytics strategy and governance, helping to achieve optimum balance between industry/enterprise standards and unique research community needs and use cases.
- Drive the partnership with our enterprise data engineering team for data lake implementation.
- Provide leadership on data/technology standards and best practices.
- Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in addition to technical expertise.
- Data engineering experience including familiarity with common health care data models.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental data management and analytics initiative.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESWhat You'll Do:
As a Data Engineer II, you will serve as the primary developer of production data pipelines for our machine learning models. You will work across teams of experienced IS engineers and clinicians to pull together disparate data and technology resources in novel ways to support the needs of the Cincinnati Children’s research community. This role will have many connection points not only in IS but also across the clinical and research teams as well.

Required:
·Bachelor's degree in a computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science or a related quantitative field.· 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.Preferred:
