      We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).

      Job Title: Data Engineer

      Location: Nashville, TN (On-site at one of NTT DATA s flagship data delivery centers)

      Overview : NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong Azure, Java, Python and SQL experience to join our innovative Data Village team. This role involves working on-site Nashville as part of a dynamic team focused on delivering cutting-edge data solutions.

      The ideal candidate will also have 3-7 years of experience in data engineering, expertise with relational databases and data management platforms (such as Splunk, Snowflake, YugabyteDB, Aerospike, S3), alignment with enterprise data architecture strategies, and:

      · Proficiency in:

        • Python and machine learning libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
        • Building infrastructure for efficient ETL processes using Python.
        • Data parsing and analytics in large datasets using Python and scripting technologies.
        • Enhancing data availability via APIs and shared services; optimizing solutions using cloud technologies.
        • Conducting risk assessments and validating data processing systems for functionality and security.

      · Experience in:

        • Event-based systems, functional programming, and messaging frameworks like Kafka.
        • Performing technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
        • DB2 and writing stored procedures.
        • Designing robust batch and streaming programs adhering to standards and best practices.

      · Knowledge of:

        • Hybrid on-prem and cloud data architectures, especially for data streaming, storage, and processing.
        • Quantitative techniques, statistics, and econometrics.

      Basic Required Skills:

      · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

      · 3+ years of Azure, Java, Python, and SQL experience.

      Additional Required Skills:

      · Strong analytical skills and ability to make timely decisions based on facts and experience.

      · Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills; ability to explain technical details.

      · Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a constantly evolving environment.

      · Collaboration with business and technology groups; presenting in various settings.

      · Navigating organizationally to accomplish tasks and working on multiple efforts simultaneously.

      · Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills; eagerness to learn and develop.

      · High level of dedication, initiative, vision, and professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.

      · Ability to handle production issues with accuracy and attention to detail; investigative and creative mindset.

      US Citizen or Green Card Holder Preferred.
