  Data Engineer

  (Sarasota, FL) Develop and support Analytics Data Warehouse and associated technologies to enhance operations for analytics, reporting, applications, and data science by gathering and processing raw data at scale. Maintain scalable, reliable, consistent, and repeatable systems that efficiently provide data for company-wide analytics and operations. Create and maintain optimal data pipelines using company data streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, and Clickhouse). Assist with the design, build, and maintenance of infrastructure to support and optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval using data processing tools. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Build analytics tools that utilize a data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. Build infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies. Collaborate with executive, product, data, business analytics, and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

  Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and five years of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Engineering Team Lead, or related position, optimizing data storage and retrieval using data processing tools required.
