      LOCATION IN ORGANIZATION :

      The position is located in the CIS office of CIS and reports directly to the Director of Business Services or Practice Administrator for all matters, including job duties, performance evaluations, approval of leave, and other assignments as deemed necessary by CIS management.

      NATURE OF DUTIES:

      Works in the billing office as a data entry clerk.

      SPECIFIC DUTIES :

      1. Data entry of all clinic charges.
      2. Data entry of all reference lab charges.
      3. Date entry of Heart Clinic and Coumadin Clinic charges.
      4. Provide back-up for verification clerk.
      5. Balance and print all charge and adjustment batches created.
      6. Make insurance chart runs.
      7. Sort and mail claims generated during end-of-day.
      8. Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of CIS and in concordance with its patient philosophy.

      QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
      1. High School graduate
      2.
      Ability to organize.
      3. Possess time management skills.
      4. Ability to understand and use a computer system
