      Hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday when needed)

      Responsibilities

      Data Entry Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Inputs data from all departments into the system

      • Prepares reports for upper management of NBP

      • Prepares weekly reports for upper management of NBP

      • Take part in the dual check program by carefully reviewing all incoming data before entering it into the system

      • Identifies, reports, and corrects any missing or incorrect information

      • Responsible for releasing special reports and results on special samples

      • Maintains accurate records of reports and equipment testing documentation

      • Assists in the proper filing, storage, and retention of laboratory documents and records

      • Responsible for answering incoming phone calls

      • Collaborates with laboratory management to resolve customer complaints or issues as they arise

      • Orders all supplies for the laboratory as needed

      • Keep track of inventory and serve as a point of contact for suppliers and warehouses

      • In charge of inventory tracking and confirmation letters

      • Responsible for receiving supplies

      • Responsible for all check-in steps to be completed for supplies

      • Enters all supplies into the electronic chemical inventory system, maintains the inventory records, and manages the distribution of supplies to departments

      • Maintains the approved vendor list, pricing changes, vendor reviews

      • Completes all filing associated with tracking and confirmation letters and supply ordering

      • Responsible for complete and proper storage and handling of all supplies

      • Maintain all storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion

      • Perform quarterly inventory audits

      • Aides in the easement of inventory audit portion of quarterly accreditation management reviews

      • Aides in the investigation process for maintaining traceability of supplies

      • Responsible for the generation of specific lab reporting letters

      • Assists with pulling and issuing reports when another team member is absent

      • Assists with the upkeep of common areas within the lab.

      • Performs additional duties as assigned by the laboratory management staff

      This is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.

      Qualifications

      Qualified Candidates for the Laboratory Data Entry Clerk position should possess the following:

      • Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalence with some college background or an Associate’s degree
      • 2-year experience in data entry

      • Proficient in all major Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Power-Point)

      • Good written/oral communication skills in English

      • Self-starter and team player

      • Ability to handle multi-tasking

      • Excellent organizational skills-time management skills are a must

      • Excellent customer service skills with all levels-upper management, vendors, and production employees

      • Flexibility in shift work (Saturday and Sundays as scheduled)

      • Must be willing to be cross trained in many facets of laboratory work.
