- Execute outreach initiatives for individuals impacted by disasters.
- Facilitate coordination among departments and external entities.
- Provide analytical administrative support to managers.
- Evaluate and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
- Manage and update computer databases.
- Collect, organize, and interpret data, and compile reports.
- Advise supervisors on policy, procedural, and operational matters.
- Engage with agency directors on program activities and issues.
- Undertake special projects as directed by the director.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Perform general administrative and secretarial tasks.
- Draft, edit, and update correspondence and memoranda.
- Demonstrate cultural and socioeconomic awareness and sensitivity.
- Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, administration, or business.
- Two to four years of related experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Experience in processing large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Knowledge of principles of organization, administration, and applicable laws.
- Proficiency in typing, office software, and computer equipment.
- Ability to train staff and exercise independent decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze complex information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations.
- Understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
