      The role involves supporting case managers with administrative tasks, gathering and organizing data, compiling reports, executing outreach initiatives, facilitating coordination among departments, and providing analytical administrative support to management. The position also includes managing databases, engaging with agency directors, and undertaking special projects.

      Responsibilities

      1. Execute outreach initiatives for individuals impacted by disasters.
      2. Facilitate coordination among departments and external entities.
      3. Provide analytical administrative support to managers.
      4. Evaluate and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
      5. Manage and update computer databases.
      6. Collect, organize, and interpret data, and compile reports.
      7. Advise supervisors on policy, procedural, and operational matters.
      8. Engage with agency directors on program activities and issues.
      9. Undertake special projects as directed by the director.
      10. Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
      11. Perform general administrative and secretarial tasks.
      12. Draft, edit, and update correspondence and memoranda.
      13. Demonstrate cultural and socioeconomic awareness and sensitivity.

      Qualifications

      1. Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, administration, or business.
      2. Two to four years of related experience.
      3. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
      4. Experience in processing large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
      5. Effective collaboration and communication skills.
      6. Knowledge of principles of organization, administration, and applicable laws.
      7. Proficiency in typing, office software, and computer equipment.
      8. Ability to train staff and exercise independent decision-making.
      9. Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze complex information.
      10. Effective written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations.
      11. Understanding of departmental policies and procedures.

      Salary is commensurate with experience. The job location is likely Glendale, CA, possibly in Venice, CA.
