Job Description

Hours: 40 hours/week
Starting wage: $16.49 + more with experience
Shift: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm, no weekends or major holidays!
Eligible for remote work after training
Department: Mid Revenue Cycle
Accurately and efficiently enter charges to patient and institutional accounts within 3–5 days of receipt.
Input CPT/EAP and diagnosis codes while ensuring correct insurance, provider, and department details.
Analyze reports with financial impact and assist with reporting and trending projects.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
Communicate effectively with Revenue Cycle staff and external facilities to ensure accurate billing.
Participate in training and compliance programs to stay current with data entry procedures.
Support departmental goals by adapting to changing priorities and contributing to team success.

Education: High school diploma or equivalency
Experience (Preferred): 3–6 months of data entry experience, ideally in a healthcare or health insurance setting
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a production environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
