- Job Summary
- Provides a variety of clerical duties in the Pre-hospital department setting. Duties may include photocopying, faxing, filing, maintenance and transportation of medical records, answering the telephone, computer data entry and other duties as assigned. General knowledge of insurance/managed care requirements, practice management system, and electronic medical record where applicable. Demonstrates customer service and team building skills. Responsible for timely and accurate data entry of electronic patient care reports.

- Preferred: 2 years of office training

- Skills
- Knowledge of computers, copiers, computer hardware and basic software, and fax machines required.
- Possesses good grammatical and business communication skills.
- Must develop efficient and accurate data entry skills.
- General knowledge and understanding of claim delay reporting.
- General knowledge of coding.
