What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and maintain the data governance platform, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to support tool integration, system upgrades, and issue resolution
- Ensure alignment of the data governance platform with enterprise architecture and data strategy
- Configure workflows, metadata models, and business glossaries within the tool environment
- Define and implement data quality rules and monitoring mechanisms in collaboration with relevant teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience with data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Secoda, Alation, etc.)
- Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality principles
- Experience with API integrations, scripting (e.g., Python, SQL), and platform configuration
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and cloud platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications in data governance or specific toolsets
- Experience working with Secoda
- Background in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare)
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and/or food industry
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA)
