      Position Overview

      Under the general supervision and direction of the MANAGER, REHABILITATION SERVICES or Designate, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the DATA INPUT CLERK, is responsible for: performing all assigned computer data entry and inputting related to the Rehabilitation Services Workload Measurement Systems which include input of direct patient care records, non-patient care records, auxiliary staff workload records; department inventory records; photocopying reports and distributing same; and performing other related duties as assigned.

      Experience

      • Six (6) months related experience.
      • Data inputting experience.

      Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

      • Grade XII or recognized equivalent.

      Qualifications and Skills

      • Data entry speed: 90 keystrokes per minute
      • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
      • Good interpersonal communication skills.
      • Legible handwriting.
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
      • Mathematical aptitude.
      • Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
