What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify data requirements and perform technical analytics for new data sources
- Act as a subject matter expert for data and claims processing
- Recommend data efficiencies and usage across various platforms
- Conduct detailed claims analysis and ad-hoc reporting
- Participate in process improvement and data quality monitoring
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in technical, computer sciences, or math discipline
- 3+ years of experience working with large volume relational data sets
- Knowledge of HCFA & UB04 data elements
- Experience in Hadoop with hands-on knowledge of Oozie, Hive, and/or Spark
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of healthcare claims processing platforms
- Experience with Dimensional Modeling
- AWS/Cloud experience a plus
