      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Respond to chart correction requests from clinicians, hospital departments, patients, and families in a timely manner
      - Maintain understanding of HIPAA and compliance requirements related to clinical data and patient identification
      - Research and analyze potential MPI duplicates and merge medical records according to procedures
      - Investigate reports of mis-identity or identity theft in collaboration with the Privacy Office
      - Work closely with departments to resolve complicated documentation issues and contribute to systems improvement initiatives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
      - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in health information management, clinical, or hospital business office
      - Proficiency in HIM database systems, Electronic Health Record (EHR), and Electronic Document Management systems
      - Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, both verbally and in writing
      - Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience leading and facilitating meetings effectively
      - Familiarity with medical terminology
      - Knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation
      - Experience in conducting educational meetings and collaborating with various departments
