      As a Data Management Analyst you will play a key role in both helping to deliver the evolution of Data Management, and in maintaining data quality, integrity, consistency, and timeliness of data for our business stakeholders.

      In this role you will perform data quality checks, exception management, and conduct ongoing data maintenance activities, whilst providing early escalation of risks, issues, and errors. You will be encouraged to challenge existing processes and champion continuous improvement.

      A key element of the role is to support delivery of our change agenda. To do this you must be able to collaborate within our team, with the project teams, and with the wider operational and investment teams, often leading on initiatives and deliverables. Being able to work independently and to take initiative is also crucial within the role.

      Our function is evolving, so there is a focus on maintaining clear procedure documentation with appropriate controls. You will contribute to reviewing existing processes, and to preforming business readiness activities for new processes. The role requires a good degree of stakeholder management skills.

      Regulatory obligations

      Whilst this isn’t a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform will contribute to the overall positive outcomes for our customers by ensuring the data we provide stewardship for is timely, accurate, consistent, and can be trusted.

      About You

      We are looking for someone to join our team who is self-motivated with a desire to succeed. Our ideal candidate will be good at problem solving, critical thinking, adaptable, and have excellent attention to detail to ensure we are able to deliver a high level of data accuracy and control to build and maintain trust in our data.

      A working knowledge of sql, Excel, and / or PowerBI, or the capability to upskill in these areas rapidly is important if you are to succeed in this role, as is the ability to apply principles you know from one application into others.

      Having a proven track record in data management and a knowledge of operational processes, ideally within the financial services industry, would be beneficial. If you have strong data analysis and processing skills gained within another industry, we’ll still consider you. You may also have experience in testing and project implementation, although helpful this is not essential.

      You may have an understanding of ESG data and its place within the investment management industry, some industry qualifications such as IMC or IAQ, or have had exposure to applications and datasets commonly used across the industry.
