Job Description

- Learn and manage the master data request process for customer, vendor, finance, material, and commodities master data, ensuring requests are valid, accurate, and completed within service level agreements.
- Create and assist data management dashboards and data quality metrics.
- Execute data cleansing in coordination with data stewards and specialists to improve data quality.
- Participate in Lean continuous improvement efforts. Analyze data and processes to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
- Hands-on-experience in identifying issues; perform root cause analysis and fix problems in a dynamic environment.
- Define opportunities and/or participate in automating processes utilizing technology.
- Enrolled in a Bachelors’ program with a focus in Accounting & Finance, Data and Analytics, or Computer Science degree entering as a college senior.
- Knowledge within finance, data management, and business processes
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Ability to learn new systems and grasp technical concepts.
- Analytical tools and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Finance Data Management and Governance group. We are looking for a Data Management Specialist Intern to support our business areas to provide stewardship for master data by enforcing the global data governance design for Customer and Vendor master data. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with all CHS business areas. This internship is for Summer 2024.
