      The Data Contributor Services organization is a team of Operations Consultants responsible for the intake and quality of all data within the USIS business unit of Equifax while serving as the relationship manager and SME for data furnishers across various data domains. As a Consultant in this organization the ideal candidate should be willing to build and manage relationships with data furnishers, oversee ingestion of billions of rows of data each month and serve as the primary point of contact for their assigned portfolio of furnishers. He/she will monitor, research, and respond to data furnisher activity including credit reporting submissions, questions/inquiries, audits, and data furnisher onboarding/off-boarding procedures. He/she should be able to analyze large datasets, demonstrate technology savvy, and be knowledgeable of the FCRA regulations and Metro 2 reporting guidelines. He/she will thrive in a challenging fast-paced environment and is looking for an opportunity to develop professionally and technically.

      What You'll do:

      • Serve as relationship manager for data furnishers (financial institutions, payment processors, fintech startups, etc).

      • Responsible for the oversight of billions of rows of data that come from data furnishers (consumer and commercial tradeline data). Monitor, research, and respond to data contributor activity including file update submissions, data reporting questions/inquiries, audits, and onboarding/off-boarding procedures

      • Ability to analyze large datasets, be technology savvy, and be knowledgeable of the FCRA regulations and Metro 2 reporting guidelines.

      • Facilitate on-site visits and annual data reviews with data furnishers.

      • Recognized as SME in data processing/cleansing technology, data exchange rules, and data reporting regulatory guidance.

      • Provides consultation and support to customers, sales, and other teams.

      • Understand internal system changes, business rules, and overarching data governance.

      • Stay abreast of external regulatory and industry reporting changes.

      • Consult with clients and prepare understandable messaging for the data furnishers to articulate how changes may impact them.

      • Works with customers and programmers to implement custom solutions that deliver data to customers to drive impactful decisions. Drafts the requirements and QC's work performed by programmers to ensure changes affecting production are properly implemented.

      What experience you need:

      • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Business, Computer Science, or related field

      • 3-5 years of experience handling Big Data

      • Project management experience

      • Relationship Management

      • Customer Service

      • Data analysis and querying skills using language like SQL

      • Knowledge of electronic file transmission (SFTP/FTP/Internet) protocols/procedures

      • Drafting technical instructions for IT programming/ implementation

      • Knowledge of consumer credit domain

      • Consistent with Equifax’s 3/2+2 flexible work framework, a willingness to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Equifax’s Atlanta-based office

      What could set you apart:

      • Comfortable using MS office, Google Workspace (preferred) and Salesforce

      • BI skills a plus

      • Scripting, automation skills a plus

      • Familiarity with cloud based data visualization tools i.e: Looker, Data studio etc., a plus

      • Knowledge of FCRA regulations and Metro 2 credit reporting guidelines and requirements is preferred

      • Sort and identify patterns/anomalies in large data sets

      • Proactive / Autonomous / organized / high degree of concentration / attention to detail

      • Superior skills in Relationship management / Customer service / Crisis management

      • Strong project management and stakeholder expectation management skills
