As a Data Privacy Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our data, implementing compliance measures, and fostering a culture of privacy within our company.

      The Data Privacy Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and implementing data privacy policies, procedures, and initiatives within the organization. They will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as a Data Privacy Analyst at the Firm include but are not limited to:

      1. Policy Development and Implementation:

        • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and update data privacy policies and procedures
        • Implement strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and industry standards.

      2. Data Mapping and Analysis:

        • Perform data mapping exercises to identify the flow of personal information across systems and processes.
        • Analyze data handling practices and recommend improvements to enhance privacy protections.

      3. Collaboration and Communication:

        • Collaborate with legal operations, IT, compliance, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment on privacy-related initiatives.
        • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding privacy policies, compliance requirements, and emerging trends in data privacy.

      4. Compliance Monitoring and Assessment:

        • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential risks and gaps in data privacy practices.
        • Develop and execute compliance monitoring programs to ensure adherence to established policies.

      5. Training and Awareness:

        • Design and deliver training sessions to educate employees on data privacy best practices and compliance requirements.
        • Assist in fostering a culture of data privacy awareness throughout the organization.

      Qualifications , Skills and Abilities Required:

      Data Privacy Analysts must:

      1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Law preferred).

      2. Strong understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and their practical application.

      3. Experience in developing and implementing data privacy policies and procedures.

      4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

      5. Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and create actionable recommendations.

      6. Certification in relevant data privacy frameworks is a plus.

      Working Conditions:

      Normal law office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, temperature.
