At Labcorp, we provide real-world experience by working on assignments in a team atmosphere which furthers an education in STEM and Healthcare disciplines. Our interns can showcase their work by demonstrating their achievements to their supervisors, their mentors, and our senior management team. Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2024 Internship Program as a Data Protection Intern!

The candidate will be required to work with internal customers and support staff to ensure data is adequately monitored and appropriate action is taken for various events. The following are requirements for the position:

• Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Be willing to learn and become familiar with various data governance and protection tools.
• Receive and implement guidance and coordinate implementation of data security best practices in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
• Partner with database services teams to ensure compliance to security controls and processes.
• Participate in organizational meetings, aid in determining the best way to secure our data, and aid in document preparation.

About the Team:

• OIS office of Informatics and Data Protection is a dynamic team that provides Labcorp with serves that allow for the protection of our data. Our services include Data Loss Prevention, database activity monitoring, encryption key management and others.
