Job Description

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, business administration, medical sciences or other relevant field is required.
- Epic Proficiency (or higher) is required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on data analysis, experience in technology, IT.
- 3+ years in related field
- Experience with Epic (or another EHR) implementation/support preferred, but not required
- Experience in a healthcare setting highly desirable
- Able to complete task level work with no supervision
- Able to manage small to medium sized initiatives with supervision/support
- Excellent technical proficiency, analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Should have some Project Management skills (tasking, scoping, managing) or similar
- Epic Cogito Proficiency or higher achieved
- Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written
- Should have working knowledge of Microsoft SQL & data visualization platforms Power BI preferred
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms with customers, staff and Leads
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, with team building and organization skills

Activities will include conducting data quality assessments, data profiling, impact analysis; establishing data quality benchmarks; and providing progress reports and recommendations. Areas of focus will also include: establishing a report validation/certification process, playing a key role in implementing and maintaining data classification efforts, guiding and monitoring metadata management best practices, supporting efforts to establish an enterprise business glossary.
