Job Description

- Daily validation of the known system errors from eCamis PAS, this will require in-depth knowledge of the eCamis system, the causes of the errors and resolving complex pathway scenarios.
- Daily validation of the common user errors, including investigating cause of error, understanding complex pathways for multiple specialties, resolving conflicting information and sourcing data from a range of sources.
- Liaising with a variety of staff, including clinicians, managers and administration staff.
- Identifying areas of development to assist users in getting it right first time
- Validation of the end of month submission to unify to ensure all reportable pathways are correct
- To keep up to date with national and local waiting time targets for inpatient, day case, outpatient and diagnostic services.
- To ensure relevant Trust policies are implemented, maintained, monitored and reviewed across all sites.
- Any other duties/responsibilities as delegated by the manager as deemed appropriate to the role

- Competent user of the intermediate functions of Microsoft Excel/Access/Word (pivot tables and basic formulae).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job summary
The Data Quality team deliver quality and accurate data through the highest level of expertise; developing professional training and audit programmes with promotion of the culture of get it right first time.
The service incorporates Clinical Coding, Data Quality and Patient Income Team with the support of analysts and project managers, who through the highest levels of skill, expertise and technology aim to enhance the value, quality and understanding of data, ensuring it can be used in confidence to inform decision making and service delivery.
The validation work stream ensure patient pathways are correctly recorded on the Patient Administration systems. Through pathway validation using multiple systems, errors will be identified, corrected and individuals targeted for retraining to prevent reoccurrence of errors. This will allow the Trust to report 18-week Referral to Treatment standards correctly.

Any other duties/responsibilities as delegated by the manager as deemed appropriate to the role.
