What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Working with and recruiting volunteers for event activities
- Assisting with pre-event planning, day of execution, and event wrap-up projects
- Follow-up calls and communication with prospects
- Administrative tasks such as printing, collating, and thank you cards
- Creation and implementation of volunteer materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Effective oral, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to work professionally with colleagues and volunteers
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of business letter writing format and protocol
- Intermediate use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Basic knowledge of Canva
- Reliable Wi-Fi connection
- Minimum availability of 20 hrs./wk., Monday-Friday
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Previous experience in event management or volunteer recruitment
