Leverages business acumen to identify problems and opportunities where data science can be applied.
Applies advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques to structured and unstructured data.
Able to perform fundamental data engineering operations such as staging of data pulling in from On Prem or Cloud data warehouses (basic SQL/NoSQL understanding, data joins etc.)
Prepares and presents analysis and results to internal decision-making audiences.
Works with Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, Data Engineering, Solutions Architects, and clients to define data flows, user interfaces, and ensure ongoing production support.
Works with clients to define measurable benefits to be gained through data science projects.
Assists in the evaluation of technologies that support data science projects.
Defines new data science projects in collaboration with business units and brings them to completion.
Understands Data models and meta data concepts.
Degrees include: Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience
Master's degree preferred.
Fully proficient in working in all phases of database design and data modeling activities.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science and analytics preferred. Experience in full scale product development involving Ai/ML/physics/mathematical based modeling techniques.
