  Overview

  We are seeking a highly motivated Data Science - AI Intern to join our dynamic Artificial Intelligence team. The ideal candidate is passionate about data science, machine learning and has a strong desire to learn and develop their skills. As a Data Science Intern, you will work with experienced Data scientists to train, test and develop machine learning solutions

  Responsibilities

  • The intern will work on at least one AI project from beginning to end.
  • Perform explorative data analysis on large datasets using Spark and Python.
  • Assist in various components of machine learning initiatives that could be research or applied machine learning in nature.
  • The candidate will bring an enthusiasm for data curiosity and applying machine learning techniques.
  • The models could be promoted to production.

  Qualifications

  • Required: Currently in your junior or senior year studying toward a Bachelor's or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Preferred: Pursuing Masters or PhD degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Math.
  • Previous analytics and data science work and internship experiences would be preferred.
  • Comfortable with SQL and Python
  • Conceptual understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts either from your degree or self-learning
  • Familiarity with common data science libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas
  • PySpark experience is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interested in collaborating on a large team with other data science practitioners on innovative projects

  Base compensation range of between $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
