- Collaborate with the data science team to understand company objectives and align analytics strategies
- Extract, preprocess, and analyze data from various sources to identify patterns and trends
- Build, validate, and implement machine learning models using best practices.
- Assist in data visualization and presentation of findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Engage in research activities to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and trends in the data science domain
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to ideate and design new strategies
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit-learn
- Understanding of database structures, data preprocessing techniques, and statistical modeling
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Matplotlib
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for innovative Data Scientist Intern with a passion for finding meaningful patterns and insights in large datasets. We are on our mission to optimize diagnostic healthcare costs and outcomes through data, analysis and driving analytics into action. Your contributions to our data, analytics and AI-driven solutions will help empower diagnostic service providers to deliver the best care and patient outcomes possible!
This is a 10-week program beginning February 21, 2024 - May 3, 2024. This will be a part-time (up to 29 hours/week maximum).
What does this position pay?
The hourly compensation for this role is $20.00 - $21.00.
