- Own our portfolio of predictive models from end to end: ideation, implementation, productionization, monitoring, and iteration
- Continuously evaluate and improve the accuracy and business impact of existing models
- Identify and develop new models that drive better user outcomes and business results
- Partner with engineering and product teams to embed models into our systems and decision-making flows
- Design and implement improvements to our data science processes and infrastructure
- Help ensure model output is interpretable, actionable, and aligned with our KPIs

- 3-5+ years of experience in Data Science roles implementing predictive models
- Strong understanding of recommendation algorithms and modeling techniques
- Proven track record of owning production data science models end to end, from discovering opportunities to implementing models to productionalization and monitoring.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Experience with Looker/LookML or other data visualization tools is a plus
- Background in Fintech, Insurtech, or insurance is a plus

About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Science Product Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of predictive models that are core to the Trellis user experience. From deciding which ad to show to determining whether to route a user to our agency, your work will shape how users navigate our product, and how well we serve them.
This is a highly cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate closely with engineering and business stakeholders to turn messy, real-world data into clear insights and working models. You’ll need to balance technical depth with business acumen and thrive in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment.
This is a fully remote position, based in the US or Canada, and will report directly into Keith Schreer, VP of Data
