- Your responsibilities include developing and deploying AI models to solve complex business challenges, ensuring they are scalable and efficient.
- You work with large datasets from various sources, applying advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights.
- Additionally, you create and maintain AI-driven solutions that enhance decision-making processes and operational efficiency.
- Presenting your findings and recommendations to stakeholders is a key part of your role, ensuring alignment with our department's strategic objectives.
- master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, ideally combined with chemistry or biology
- advanced knowledge in AI model development, including domain adaptation methods and integration into existing applications
- basic understanding of intellectual property (IP) and regulatory considerations in the chemical industry
- proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, LangChain, LangGraph, and Hugging Face
- familiarity with generative AI models, prompt engineering, and experience in developing Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and AI agent systems
- excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in German as a plus
- Gross annual salary (full-time): 46.000 - 50.000 €, depending on qualification and work experience, 55.000 - 59.000 € possible with correspondingly higher qualifications.
- In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
- Flexible working hours so that you can organize your working and private life according to your needs.
- Work mobile from other EU countries for up to six weeks.
- Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
