We are looking for an ambitious Data Scientist to join our team of highly motivated and experienced colleagues with a pioneering and start-up mentality. We are seeking someone with expertise in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to join our DI PC Data Lab team in Finance & Controlling. As a Data Scientist, you will contribute to exciting projects, and thus actively drive transformation of our company in a sustainable way. You will be part of a dynamic team working towards the vision of a data-driven company. What part will you play? Collaborating closely with business units and IT departments to implement projects (from proof-of-concept to implementation support). Identifying optimization potential in internal business processes and deriving recommendations for action, as well as use and business cases. Driving pragmatic approaches to solve complex business problems by utilizing predictive modeling, machine learning, recommendation engines or other advanced statistical models. Conducting data analyses and visualizations for decision-making and deriving trends and patterns Engineering prompts for Generative Pretrained Transformers (GPT). Working independently on innovative technical projects. Presenting project outcomes to customers and peers, demonstrating relevance and applicability. Advising and coaching colleagues and teams in the field of data science and analytics. Supervising master's theses and student interns. What you need to make real what matters. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields. Several years of experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning; NLP specialization preferred. Excellent technical understanding and software modeling skills combined with strategic thinking and a clear customer-oriented communication form part of your profile. Proficient in complex data analyses and storytelling. Experience with BI/visualization tools is desirable. Expertise in Python, SQL, and big data analytics (e.g., Azure ML, Snowflake). Experience in Finance, Business Administration or Controlling is a plus. High flexibility, creativity and customer-centric problem-solving. Team player with initiative and structured work approach. Fluent in German and English; strong negotiation skills.
