  The Role:

  PurposeBuilt Brands is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and manufacturing environment. This hybrid position requires availability during normal business hours and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

  In this role, you will collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets from multiple sources, using tools like Python, R, and Power BI to uncover actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. You’ll develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast trends and optimize business performance. You’ll also collaborate closely with stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals and present your findings in clear, visual formats.

  What You Will Do: .

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from various sources to prepare it for analysis
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract insights, identify patterns, and trends that can drive business decisions
  • Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast future outcomes and optimize business processes.
  • Use data visualization tools such as Power BI to present information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to achieve those goals.
  • Communicate findings and propose solutions to improve business operations and decision-making.
  • Design and implement databases and data collection systems to ensure data quality and integrity.

  What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Python, and R for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling
  • Understanding of business and business statistics to provide actionable insights
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in the CPG and manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Ability to manage projects and deliver results within deadlines

  Compensation Range:

  $68,000 – $127,000

  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, location, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specifics for each salary range.
