      • Job Description
        Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
        Implements systems that utilize data-oriented programming languages and visualization software to explore, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms and solve complex business problems.
        Assists in the deployment of data science initiatives by utilizing data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to extract data from multiple sources and deliver predictive models that inform solutions.
        Designs complex data solutions that meet client requirements and organizational quality standards by leveraging industry-leading tools, technologies, and best practices to profile and translate data.
        Applies in-depth data science and machine learning knowledge to improve patient care capabilities, optimize healthcare operations, and drive evidence-based decision-making.
        Develops analytical frameworks, key metrics, and performance dashboards to monitor, measure, and evaluate healthcare quality, efficiency, and performance.
        Communicates with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clinicians, Information Technology (IT) professionals, and business analysts, to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions.
        Coordinates the delivery of presentations and consultative services to existing and prospective constituents that outline data analytics results and solutions.
        Works to develop professional knowledge by staying up to date on innovative data analysis techniques, visualization tools and software, and object-oriented programming languages.
        Ensures departmental adherence to all applicable data governance policies and procedures by educating team members on data science best practices.


        Education
        Master's degree preferred

        Prior Relevant Work Experience
        2-4 years

        Essential Qualifications
        Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills along with hands on experience with Python and/or R, expert level SQL and experience with predictive modeling, machine learning.

      Pay Range

      The typical pay range for this role is:

      $79,310.00 - $158,620.00

      This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
