- Req#: 500897
- Execution of data science activities, using AI and machine learning to solve business problem and develop new products for the wider business.
- Development of AI and machine learning models and algorithms to support insight generation.
- Assist with the deployment of data science products and their integration into the broader AXA Retail data ecosystem, maximising the value of AXA Retail’s data assets.
- Fundamental technical data science and analytics skills such as clustering techniques, statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Experience with Cloud and Machine Learning tools and technologies such as GCP, Azure Cloud, ML services and Databricks.
- Knowledgeable in languages such as Python and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience working as part of a cohesive and successful data science team.
- Experience with PySpark would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Competitive annual salary of up to £35,000 dependent on experience

!*!We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to join our Retail Data Analytics team. You’ll primarily be involved in the day-to-day execution of data science activities, turning data from various datasets and sources into valuable and useful insights for AXA Retail to consume. You’ll also use a strong business acumen and storytelling to communicate findings to a variety of stakeholders and business leaders in a way that can influence how AXA Retail approaches a business challenge or need.
As a Data Scientist, you’ll use a range of technical data science capabilities such as AI, machine learning modelling and algorithms in order to answer business needs and challenges.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
