Develop predictive models that will form the basis for information driven strategies in Credit Risk and Marketing
Perform optimization analysis and build supporting component predictions
Create customer segmentation schemes that will provide our analytic teams with insights into our customers
Monitor effectiveness of all statistical models and recommend appropriate course of action
Perform full cycle model design and development from target definition through to implementation and performance measurement
Work closely with subject matter experts to understand and interpret data
Deliver effective communications of key design elements and development results
University degree in a quantitative discipline, Mathematics or Statistics preferred
Demonstrated superior analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills
Good working knowledge of statistical techniques and predictive modeling
Programming experience, preferably with data extraction/mining tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, Python)
Ability to accurately and consistently deal with granular and detailed data
Proven ability to translate business needs into statistically sound solutions
Capable of clearly communicating analytical results to business stakeholders
Demonstrated experience performing statistical analysis or building predictive models from large, complex data sets
Previous experience in credit cards/unsecured lending, credit scoring or customer segmentation
Familiarity with statistical modeling or data mining software
Creative and courageous, with the ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold, strategic moves in this rapidly evolving retail environment
Action oriented, and comfortable taking calculated risks to better serve our customers and business
Outcome focused, critical thinkers with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business
Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward
