  Position Title: Data Scientist

  Location: San Diego, CA

  Security Clearance: Secret

  Description:

  Leading Solutions-LLC is seeking a Data Scientist for our government client in the San Diego, CA area. Candidates must be located within the San Diego area and be able to attend urgent or emergent requirements or participate in face-to-face meetings at government facilities if required.

  Key Responsibilities:

  1. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
  2. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings to inform decision-making and strategic goals.
  3. Create dynamic data reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
  4. Develop and implement techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.

  Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 10 years of professional experience related to the labor category in lieu of a degree requirement.

  Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in data science, analytics, or a similar field.

  Salary:

  $51.00 per hour

  Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings.
  • Standing for extended periods during meetings.
  • Walking to various areas of the office or meeting spaces, as needed for collaboration or coordination.
