- Can collaborate with key business areas, including Product and Pricing, Line 1 risk and Credit risk to provide implementable modelling/analytical solutions and insights to drive profitable growth and productivity.
- Are experienced in applying high complexity data science techniques to large and unstructured data within a research or corporate environment
- Are naturally talented to educate, communicate and positively influence diversely large group of stakeholders, while working with cross-functional teams.
- Data science or statistical modelling leading end-to-end projects
- Expertise in generating actionable value-add insights by understanding complex data by using Python, R, Spark, Teradata SQL, SAS
- Exposure to commercial banking, ML, AI driven home buying products
Data Scientist - Statistical Modelling
Do work that matters
As a Data Scientist within the Decision Science Home Buying Modelling Team, you will assist in the development and management of models supporting the Home Buying Business. This role involves the design, development and implementation of key business initiatives through statistical models across credit, pricing, marketing, operations and technology to drive business outcomes for the Home Loan portfolio. You will work closely with key stakeholders, such as the Portfolio teams, Finance and Group to ensure regulatory and business insights are accurate, and are in alignment to the strategic direction of the business.

The Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) team is responsible for leading the delivery of world-class data, analytics and technology capabilities to improve the financial well-being of our customers and communities.
The Home Buying Modelling team within CDAO supports the Home Buying business modelling needs through the development and maintenance of predictive models, creating insights to enable business decision making at a strategic and tactical level. These models help support E2E product performance of all the retail home loan products, including pricing, credit risk and portfolio protection.
