Job Description

- Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field
- 2+ year experience supporting 2 or more DWH/ETL tools such as Wherescape RED, Data Manager, Data Stage, Spark etc.
- Controlled goods and security clearance is required for this posting
- 2+ years experience designing on premise or Cloud Data Warehouses and Data Models
- Knowledge of IBM Cognos Suite of Products is an asset

- Hands on experience in SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Lake is considered an asset. (AWS or GCP experience is also considered an asset)
- Designing, developing, and implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse, ETL and real-time / batch data exchanges.
- Providing best in class service to our customers working on Service now tickets, daily work prioritization etc.
- Working with structured and semi-structured data and converting them to actionable datasets.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting, Monitoring ETL's and providing On-Call support.
- Supporting reporting tools and services such as Cognos and Power BI.
- Communicate and translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for our business and stakeholders.
The Data Solutions Developer will be a collaborative member of the Data Solutions and Data Engineering team who create value by deriving meaningful insights out of raw data. Proactively sourcing information from various sources and analyzing it for better understanding about how the business performs; building data driven tools that automate or facilitate processes within the company leading to improved business outcomes.
This position requires full-time on-site presence.
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
