  • Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days on site/2 remote

  • Pay range: $97,000-117,000

  • Reports to: Senior Dir. Distribution Technology & Analysis

  Job Description Summary: The Data Systems Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and solutions that support our organization's data-driven initiatives. Your expertise in data modeling, database management, and software development will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our data, as well as enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Design, develop, and implement data systems and solutions that align with business objectives and enhance data management and analytics capabilities.

  • Perform data modeling, database design, and optimization to ensure efficient and effective storage and retrieval of data.

  • Develop and maintain data pipeline processes to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data systems.

  • Implement data governance and data quality measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data.

  • Develop and maintain data integration solutions to enable seamless data flow and information exchange between different systems and platforms.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages and technologies suitable for data systems development.

  • Perform data analysis and develop data visualizations and reports to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions to business challenges.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data management, data analytics, and data systems development, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field.

  • 2 years Business or Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Systems Developer or similar role, with a focus on data management and systems development.

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.

  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and optimization.

  • Knowledge of data integration techniques and tools, such as ETL processes, APIs, and data pipelines.

  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles and practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
