- Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to understand use cases and translate them into data integration routines
- Perform data analysis, mapping, transformation, and ETL processes between systems
- Design and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, security)
- Optimize and maintain data warehouse performance, batch processing, and parallelization
- Work closely with Data Architects to implement best-in-class data models
- Document data flows, source-to-target mappings, and technical processes
- Support audit control, data validation, cleansing techniques, and process monitoring
- Provide on-call support after hours when necessary
- Use version control (GitHub) and participate in CI/CD pipelines
- Enable and mentor junior developers on data-related best practices
- 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
- 3+ years of BI development using Microsoft SQL Server and expert-level T-SQL
- 5+ years working with SSIS and stored procedures
- 2+ years of Power BI development and dashboarding
- Strong understanding of data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical), including EDW and data marts
- Deep knowledge of relational databases and SQL programming
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers and guide design decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 1–2 years experience with Azure Synapse / Azure Data Warehouse
- 1–2 years working with Azure Data Factory, SQL VMs, and building/maintaining ETL in a Data Lake environment
