Job Description

Design, develop, and build dbt code to extend the Enterprise Data Model with an eye towards performance, scale, and maintainability.
Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
Hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, performance tuning, and sandbox POC.
Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
Working closely with the Integration Team and other members of the ED&A Team to ensure data quality from source through to production.
Participate in discussions with cross-functional teams, to understand their requirements. Translate the business requirements in to corresponding Data requirements.
Collaborate with other members of the ED&A team to build a secure, robust, scalable, and efficient Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) in alignment with the long-term ED&A roadmap.
Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs.
Support the implementation of our analytics, semantic, and metrics layers.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer/data science or related experience.
4+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
Must have 2+ years of experience working with dbt
Must Have solid advance SQL experience.
Must have intermediate Python experience.
Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms required.
Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools required.
Experience working with either Azure, AWS or GCP
Awareness and experience with the critical concepts of DevOps and Agile principles
Experience with Prefect / Airflow, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, and similar tools highly preferred
