Job Description
- Req#: R-104513
- Proficiency with MYSQL DBA database administration on UNIX or Linux platforms
- Ability to understand and remediate production issues on fly and conduct the Root cause analysis
- Experience on data movement utilities Loads, Imports and Exports
- Exposure on DR test & strategies like Failover Clustering, Log Shipping, Replication, HACMP, HADR
- Fix-pack Insulation, Version upgradation
- Troubleshooting and Performance tuning
- Backup Strategy and restoration, refresh activity
- Maintenance utility Runstat and reorg
- Good knowledge on Capacity planning & forecasting
- Knowledge on ITIL Methodologies like Change, Incident, Problem, Service Management using service now Ticketing tool

operational guidelines and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various
support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates
and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements
enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Note: May be internal or external,
client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include
